Principal Accountabilities:

• Engage in physical activity within a food processing environment, requiring moderate exertion such as bending, lifting, walking, and standing.
• Work will involve exposure to varying conditions (heat, cold, dust) and the requirement of personal protective equipment.
• Execute automation solutions and oversee electrical and instrumentation functions related to projects.
• Design and implement control strategies adhering to best practice standards.
• Collaborate with support teams to identify improvement areas and provide training on completed projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without Visa sponsorship.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge of PLC/HMI/Controls programming languages.
• Capability to troubleshoot a range of electrical or instrumentation systems.
• Ability to read and analyze electrical schematics.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work well individually or in a team.
• Ability to pass an Electrical Aptitude Test.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with Cargill.
• Understanding of continuous and batch process control strategies.
• Familiarity with the production process.
• Experience in configuring and programming various control systems including PLC and HMI.
• Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance and planning.
• Experience with automation, electrical, and/or instrumentation, particularly with Allen-Bradley and Siemens.
• Knowledge of plant digital business technologies.
