Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical examinations and gather medical histories to assess donor suitability.
• Build positive relationships with donors to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Maintain confidentiality for both donors and staff.
• Educate donors about potential hazards related to donation.
• Provide necessary information and counseling regarding test results.
• Manage and evaluate donor injuries and adverse reactions.
• Review medical histories and medications to confirm donor eligibility.
• Assist with employee training programs.
• Administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program.

Job Requirements:

Applicants must be educated and certified as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT as per state requirements. Current CPR certification is mandatory.

Position Attributes:

• Work involves both standing and sitting for extended periods.
• Frequent neck movement required for various tasks.
• Manual dexterity is essential for precise movements.
• Frequent foot movement; some lifting of 15 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.
• Color perception, near vision, and far vision capabilities are important.
• Ability to effectively communicate information and listen to others.
• Self-sufficient work ability while following instructions.
• Flexibility to perform a range of tasks in changing conditions.
• Comfortable dealing with sensitive information in a diverse environment.
• Exposure to biological fluids and laboratory equipment with proper personal protective gear required.
