Job Summary:

You will be responsible for safely transporting products from the warehouse to various customers, ensuring precise delivery and unloading according to invoices and company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Unload products using hand tools as needed, ensuring delivery precision in all weather conditions.
• Complete necessary paperwork in accordance with company and governmental guidelines.
• Follow food safety protocols for product handling and delivery.
• Build strong relationships through excellent customer service and clear communication.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma/GED or equivalent, plus one year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a driving school may substitute for this requirement.
• Must read and communicate effectively in English.

Certifications Required:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, with insurability to operate a vehicle.

Skills and Abilities:

• Understand DOT regulations and safe delivery practices.
• Drive over various terrains and weather conditions.
• Effectively communicate and solve problems while managing deliveries.
• Manage hazardous materials and food items efficiently.

Physical Demands:

This position requires regular lifting, pushing, and maneuvering of products up to 50 pounds, and the ability to utilize hand carts effectively.

The work environment may expose you to various weather conditions, confined spaces, and requires working overnight, including weekends and holidays as needed.
