JOB SUMMARY

As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will ensure the safe and efficient transport of products from our warehouse to customers. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, and delivering products per company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Unload product from the trailer safely, either by hand or using a cart, and place it in designated storage areas as per customer instructions.
• Complete all paperwork in line with company and governmental guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Adhere to food safety protocols, maintaining sanitary conditions in delivery and storage areas.
• Build strong relationships with customers through exceptional service and clear communication.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent; completion of a tractor-trailer driving school acceptable.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience is required; food and beverage delivery experience is preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and be insurable to operate a vehicle.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe delivery practices is essential. Skills include the ability to drive long distances in various weather conditions and the capability to communicate effectively with customers. You should be able to solve problems and deliver products efficiently.

Physical demands include lifting and moving products up to 50 pounds and the use of carts for loading/unloading weighing up to 350 pounds. Associates should be comfortable with climbing, bending, and working in varied conditions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Expect occasional exposure to wet, hot, or cold conditions and other challenging work environments as required. The role involves overnight scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
