• Average first-year earnings: $80,000 Gross
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

Your responsibilities as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Conduct pre/post-trip inspections of your tractor-trailer and submit DOT inspection reports.
• Review bill of lading and handle keys with accuracy during off-hour deliveries.
• Safely drive the tractor-trailer to various destinations, adhering to commercial driving regulations and expertly maneuvering the vehicle.
• Maintain a driver log (manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting deliveries, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
• Unload the trailer and deliver products directly to customer premises.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

What we’re looking for:

• You must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A).
• Have at least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient for job-related tasks, including safety protocols and instructions.
