Job Summary

As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will safely and efficiently transport products from the warehouse to various customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery according to company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Safely unloads product from the trailer to designated customer storage areas, following company and customer specifications.
• Accurately completes all required paperwork as per company and governmental guidelines.
• Ensures compliance with food safety protocols and maintains a sanitary condition in your delivery vehicle.
• Builds rapport with customers through courteous and professional service.
• Completes other duties as assigned by management.

Required Minimum Education/Experience:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, plus 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience. Completion of a driving school can substitute for a high school diploma.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience required; experience with food and/or beverage delivery is a plus.

Certifications and/or Technical Requirements:

• A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safe delivery practices.
• Ability to drive in varying weather conditions and terrains.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers.

Physical Demands:

• This job requires frequent lifting, pushing, or moving products weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as using hand carts to transport up to 350 pounds.

Work Environment:

• The work environment may include exposure to wet, hot, or extreme cold conditions, and the associate may need to work in confined spaces as demanded by the job.
