Job Overview:

Sysco is urgently hiring dedicated local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and deliver a variety of products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, and dry goods, to customer locations on a designated route. This role involves building strong relationships with customers through a friendly attitude and a commitment to understanding and meeting their needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 21 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, including understanding traffic signs and making accurate reports.
• Capability to handle touch freight, lifting or moving products weighing 40-60 pounds on average and up to 100 pounds as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of customer delivery experience.
• 6 months of experience using hand carts or hand trucks.
• 6 months of experience in the Food and Beverage industry.
• 2 years of consistent work history.
