Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough pre/post trip inspections on the tractor-trailer and submit a DOT inspection report indicating any issues.
• Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and securely store keys for off-hour deliveries.
• Drive the tractor-trailer to various destinations, adhering to commercial driving regulations and demonstrating skill in maneuvering the vehicle.
• Maintain a driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and exceptions.
• Unload the trailer, ensuring products are delivered safely to customers' premises.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age: 21 years old.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year of experience or 50,000 verifiable miles driving a tractor-trailer.
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• The ability to read, write, and understand English well enough to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely, including following work instructions and safety protocols.
