Your role as a CDL-A Delivery Operator includes:

• Conducting pre and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer and submitting a DOT inspection report on its condition.
• Verifying the accuracy of the bill of lading and managing keys for off-hour deliveries.
• Driving the tractor-trailer to assigned destinations while adhering to commercial driving regulations and demonstrating skillful maneuvering.
• Maintaining accurate driver logs (manual or Peoplenet) per DOT regulations, including documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and exceptions.
• Unloading the trailer and delivering products directly into customer locations.
• Performing other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications we seek in a CDL-A Team Member:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• Have a minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of experience in tractor-trailer driving.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• This position requires proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English to effectively perform job-related tasks and comply with safety protocols.
