JOB SUMMARY:

Your role involves safely and efficiently transporting products from the warehouse by driving a tractor trailer to various customers and delivering products in accordance with customer invoices and company policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely unload products by hand or using a hand cart, ensuring delivery to designated areas according to specifications.

• Complete all necessary paperwork per company and governmental guidelines, including logs and inspections.

• Maintain food safety standards and ensure sanitary conditions in the vehicle and warehouse.

• Build positive relationships with customers through exceptional service and communication.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED, plus one (1) year of tractor trailer driving experience; completion of a driving school is an alternative qualification.

• Ability to read, speak, and communicate in English effectively.

CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must be insurable to drive.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of DOT regulations, safe lifting practices, and Hazmat guidelines is essential. Skills include long-distance driving, problem-solving, and effective communication. Ability to operate a tractor-trailer unit safely in various conditions and handle different products.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. Frequently lifts, pushes, or moves products weighing up to 50 pounds and uses a hand cart for heavier loads. Requires climbing, bending, and twisting.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work conditions may include exposure to varying weather, moving mechanical parts, and confined spaces. An overnight schedule and flexibility for weekends and holidays are required.
