CDL A Delivery Driver - Food Services

Schedule:

• Monday - Saturday (2 days off each week)

• Start times between 10PM - 6AM

• 10-12 hour shifts, averaging 50-55 hours weekly

• Overtime as required

Main Responsibilities of the Role

• Safely operate delivery trucks to meet customer schedules

• Unload products using a hand truck, pallet jack, or manually, placing items in designated customer storage

• Confirm delivery accuracy with customers and secure required signatures

• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable

• Provide outstanding customer service to enhance the client experience

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull weights ranging from 20 to 80+ lbs repeatedly during shifts

• Comfortable driving and working in varying weather, making frequent stops (over 10 per shift)

Qualifications:

• Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse*

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Possess a valid CDL Class A issued by your state with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications

• Minimum six months of commercial driving experience required, or three months in food/beverage delivery

• Ability to operate a manual transmission preferred

• Must effectively read and communicate in English - hold conversations, interpret traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and compete reports

*Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a Department of Transportation requirement. All drivers must register at the new database for real-time information regarding CDL and CLP holders' drug and alcohol program violations.

The expected base pay for this position ranges between $35.06 and $36.91, and overtime compensation is applicable. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, disability coverage, employee stock purchase plans, and life insurance.
