CDL A Delivery Driver

Are you ready to kick-start a rewarding career in the foodservice industry? We are seeking dedicated CDL A Delivery Drivers to join our team!

The expected base pay for this role is $28.50 per hour during a training period (2-8 weeks). After training, you will receive additional component pay based on miles, cases, and stops. Pay includes hourly rates, component pay, and other incentives.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday (4-day workweek) with dispatching between 3:00 am - 6:00 am. Work until all cases are delivered. *Hours may vary based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive trucks to deliver products to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
• Carefully unload products from the trailer using equipment such as two-wheelers or pallet jacks, placing them in designated storage areas at customer sites.
• Verify delivery accuracy and obtain signatures from customers.
• Handle any necessary collections and payments from customers as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing between 20 to 80+ lbs throughout your shift.
• Comfortable driving and working in various weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid CDL Class A license issued by your state of residence, with appropriate endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• At least six months of commercial driving experience, or three months specifically in food/beverage delivery, is required.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission is preferred.
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English, understanding traffic signs, responding to inquiries, and entering information accurately.

The expected compensation for this role ranges between $28.50/hour and $32.00/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
