JOB SUMMARY: You will play a key role in providing excellent service by safely transporting products from our warehouse to various customers, ensuring accurate delivery in accordance with customer invoices and company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Unload products from the trailer, by hand or using hand carts, in all weather conditions while placing items in designated customer storage areas based on specifications.

• Complete all paperwork according to company and government guidelines, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of logs and reports.

• Follow food safety protocols by maintaining proper temperatures and cleanliness in delivery vehicles. Ensure products are stored correctly to prevent contamination.

• Build good relationships with customers through excellent service and effective communication.

• Other duties as assigned by Management.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a driving school may be considered in lieu of education.

CERTIFICATIONS:

• A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required. Candidates must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of employment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledgeable in DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe delivery practices.

• Ability to drive long distances in various weather conditions, communicate effectively with customers, and solve problems as they arise.

• Capable of operating a tractor-trailer both day and night, remaining vigilant, and meeting productivity goals.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical requirements of this job include sitting, talking, listening, lifting and moving products up to 50 pounds by hand, and using a hand cart for up to 250 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The job may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, mechanical parts, and occasional confined spaces. Typically, the work schedule might include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
