Your Role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Conduct pre/post trip inspections of the tractor-trailer, completing DOT inspection reports.
• Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and store keys for off-hour deliveries.
• Safely operate the tractor-trailer to the designated location, utilizing knowledge of driving regulations and maneuvering skills.
• Maintain a driver log according to DOT regulations, tracking deliveries, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
• Unload the trailer and deliver products directly to customer premises.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

What You Need to Be Successful:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• Have a minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Satisfy McLane's motor vehicle record and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English effectively for job-related tasks, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
