Cashier

Position Summary:

As a Cashier at ALDI, you’ll play a key role in delivering a fast, friendly, and efficient checkout experience. We’re looking for hardworking, customer-focused individuals who thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and are committed to upholding ALDI’s high standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service at the register
• Operate a cash register and accurately handle cash, card, and digital transactions
• Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions
• Uphold ALDI’s commitment to efficiency by scanning items quickly and accurately
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Assist with store cleaning, restocking shelves, and other duties as assigned
• Monitor and minimize losses through careful handling of transactions and merchandise
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail or cashier experience a plus, but not required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs regularly
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
