Job Description

This role involves reviewing drawings, sketches, and specifications and coordinating and preparing instructions for fabricators. You will set up, operate, and maintain woodworking machines and stationary equipment, such as planers, edgebanders, joiners, wide belt sanders, and saws. Additionally, you will manage hand routers and electric and pneumatic hand tools. Experience in hands-on milling, CNC work, assembly, and finishing is essential. A strong knowledge of various wood species and grades, plywoods, veneer, laminate, particle boards, plastics, metals, adhesives, fasteners, and hardware is required, along with a high accuracy in work and strong attention to detail to meet quality control standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret drawings, sketches, and specifications.

• Coordinate and prepare instructions for fabricators.

• Set up, operate, and maintain woodworking machines and stationary equipment.

• Operate hand routers and electric and pneumatic hand tools.

• Conduct hands-on milling, CNC work, assembly, and finishing.

• Demonstrate knowledge of wood species, grades, and various materials.

• Ensure high accuracy and attention to detail to meet quality control standards.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience.

• Knowledge of basic algebra and geometry.

• Valid driver's license.
