• Shifts starting from 4 hrs in length up to 12+ hrs
• Our clients all live within Genesee County -- No long drives to get to work!!
• We have 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts open! (any variation between those hours work too!)

Responsibilities

• Help remind clients to take prescribed medication
• Ensure clients safety during transfers
• Help with mobility, either in the home or outside and in the community (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, bathing, dressing, toileting, and help with physical therapy exercises (if applicable)
• Complete errands for client or accompany client to ensure safe completion of errands (grocery shopping, Rx pick-up, etc.)
• Perform light housekeeping duties and maintenance of a safe environment for the client
• Report and unusual incidents and any changes/declines in client's physical, cognitive, or emotional status
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Perform activities that are essential for daily living by assisting clients with planning and preparing their meals, including serving and/or feeding, if necessary

Qualifications

• 1 years experience in a healthcare or in-home care environment
• Reliable transportation
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Valid driver's license not necessary, but reliable transportation every shift is a must
• Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends sometimes
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or Home Health Aide, or completion of a CNA Program
• Take pride in providing high quality care
• Hoyer Lift Experience a plus

Compensation: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
