VCA Pacific Petcare Animal Hospital is looking for a talented Veterinary Assistant Care Concierge. We are a two doctor general practice located in the Carmel Valley community of San Diego.

A VCA Pacific Petcare Care Concierge is a specialized role within VCA Animal Hospitals that acts as a point of contact for clients, streamlining the veterinary visit experience. They assist the veterinary team by managing communication, documentation, and coordination of care. Essentially, they enhance client service and improve the overall efficiency of the veterinary practice. The Care Concierge coordinates:

• Client Communication: They greet clients, guide them to exam rooms, and communicate appointment expectations before the visit.
• Medical Record Management: They enter electronic medical records in real-time during exams and create treatment plans based on veterinarian instructions.
• Treatment Coordination: They coordinate with the veterinary technician team to ensure smooth delivery of treatments and prescriptions.
• Client Education: They explain treatment plans, review discharge instructions, and provide follow-up information.
• Administrative Tasks: They handle appointment scheduling, check-out, and payment processing.
• Client Follow-up: They check on patients post-visit and communicate test results.
• Pharmacy Tasks: They handle prescription refill requests.
