Location: Cairo, OH
Schedule: Full-Time | Minimum 40 Hours/Week | Primarily Day Shift
Compensation:

Starting Base Salary for New Grads: $105,000
Performance Incentive: Up to 10% annually
Total Attainable Compensation: $115,500+
Higher compensation available based on experience

Position Overview:
A reputable healthcare organization located in Cairo, Ohio is seeking a motivated and dedicated Physician Assistant to join its Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for both new graduates and experienced PAs looking to work in a high-acuity surgical environment with comprehensive responsibilities across the continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as First Assist in the OR for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery cases
Provide clinical care in outpatient clinic and inpatient units
Conduct daily rounds, monitor patient progress, and coordinate care with the on-call physician
Participate in pre-op and post-op evaluations and patient education
Document clinical findings and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team
Participate in a shared call schedule (approximately 10 days per month)

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
NCCPA Certification and eligibility for Ohio state licensure
BLS and ACLS certification required
Prior surgical experience is a plus but not required - new grads are welcome to apply
Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
