Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist

The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital in Jackson, MI and Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan is seeking a Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist to join our cohesive, dynamic group. The position is a full-time, academic, multidisciplinary team-based practice including resident and fellow clinical and didactic education.

CASEWORK AND SCHEDULE:
•The Henry Ford Heart and Vascular Institute is an award-winning and highly recognized site by the AHA.
•Surgical case types include: CABG, valve surgery, and aortic surgery with an increasing focus on expansion to higher acuity cases in the future. In addition, our team supports the internationally recognized structural heart program, including: TAVR, cardiac ablations (a fib/flutter/VTach), Watchman/Amulet devices, high-risk coronary interventions.
Job Requirements:
•BC/BE in Anesthesiology
•A Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship is required
•Advance Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiograph certification through the National Board of Echocardiography (NBE) is required.
•Additional advanced training or experience beyond fellowship is welcome but not required
•Eligible for Michigan licensure
