We are looking to grow our Cardiology services with a dedicated Cardiologist who is eager to make a positive impact in our community. We provide evidence-based cardiology care in a value-based setting and offer both full-time and flexible schedules to match the right talent with the right opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns
• Initiate tests, treatments, and refer for procedures when necessary
• Maintain detailed notes of patient appointments, including comments, test results, and treatment plans
• Perform necessary tests to evaluate patients' heart and cardiovascular health
• Interpret test results to assess heart function and health
• Utilize medical imaging equipment, such as CT and MRI scanners, to diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions
• Assist and/or perform surgical procedures, including complex interventions
• Prescribe medications for heart and cardiovascular diseases
• Provide support and guidance to patients and families in long-term care
• Train and educate junior staff and colleagues
• Commitment to a Monday through Friday, 100% outpatient schedule without hospital rounding or on-call duties

Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O.
• Completed a Cardiology Fellowship program
• Medical Licensure in the State of New Mexico or the ability to obtain prior to employment
• Board certified or board eligible in specialty
• DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment

Compensation for this specialty typically ranges from $367,500 to $700,000, combining base pay and bonuses based on local labor markets, education, experience, and performance. Alongside your salary, we provide an extensive benefits package, recognition programs, equity stock purchase options, and 401K contributions, all subject to eligibility requirements.
