Cardiac Ultrasound Specialist

This position offers a $15,000 commitment incentive, paid over three years of work. Equal installments will be issued after every six months of service.

As a vital member of our dynamic team, you will provide cardiac ultrasound services in one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers. You will serve a varied group of inpatients and outpatients while contributing to high-quality patient care and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct cardiac ultrasound evaluations with precision.
• Effectively communicate acute findings to Cardiologists and ensure studies are routed for interpretation.
• Gather relevant patient medical histories prior to examinations.
• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment, ensuring efficiency between procedures.
• Troubleshoot and report any equipment issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Possibility of participating in staff training and education initiatives.

Education Requirements:

Associate's degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field within three months of hire, or completion of a twelve-month ultrasound program within the same time frame.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or registry-eligible with a requirement to become registered within one year of hire. Ongoing maintenance of registry status and completion of continuing education annually is required.

Professional Experience Requirements:

No prior experience required, making this an excellent opportunity for newcomers to the field.
