Sign-On Bonus: $10,000, payable in full on your first paycheck!*

Schedule: Full-time days

Pay Rate: Starting at $32.48/hour with daily pay available!

Shift Differentials: Additional compensation available for night, weekend, and extra shifts

Location: MO-SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - St. Louis, MO

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Cardiac Sonography program.
• ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography required.

Job Summary:

You will perform diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with established protocols, which may include either adult or pediatric echocardiography.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic procedures, record test results, and report findings.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians of any abnormalities.
• Maintain adequate supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
• Position patients and select appropriate anatomic and technical parameters.
• Comply with all regulatory agency standards.
• Submit high-quality images and documents to PACS promptly.
• Keep the department clean and orderly, including procedure rooms and storage areas.
• Maintain a constant state of alertness and professionalism.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.

Education:

• Completion of an Echocardiography program.

Experience:

• No prior experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Constantly standing and walking.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, and positioning of patients.
• Visual acuity for distance and near work.
• Ability to hear alarms and body sounds.
• Occasional lifting of weights up to 50 lbs.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Certification from CCI or ARDMS as a Cardiac Sonographer is essential.
