Job specification

Provide specialized nursing care to patients within the Cardiac/Neuro Telemetry Unit, including continuous monitoring of cardiac and neurological indicators.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans, ensuring adherence to established care standards and protocols.
Administer medications, therapies, and interventions as prescribed, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians and other specialists, to coordinate and optimize patient care.
Respond to emergency situations promptly, applying advanced clinical skills to manage cardiac and neurological crises.

Candidate requirements

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; an advanced degree in Nursing is a plus.

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry, cardiac, or neuro care, preferably in an acute care setting.

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.

Specialty certification in Cardiac or Neuro Telemetry Nursing (e.g., CCRN) is highly preferred.
