Job Summary:
This role is crucial for performing timely and accurate catheterization laboratory procedures based on physician orders. As a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist, you will collaborate with physicians to deliver effective therapeutic and diagnostic patient care. Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently operate cardiac catheterization equipment and support devices to assist physicians in obtaining vital diagnostic information.
• Act as a sterile assistant during fluoroscopic catheterization procedures, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
• Carefully monitor patients' ECG, hemodynamic status, and other clinical indicators throughout procedures to guarantee patient safety.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring everything is set for optimal clinical outcomes.
• Regularly inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure it is fully operational for clinical needs.
• Provide emergency patient care management in alignment with ACLS guidelines, maintaining a commitment to exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered Cardiovascular Technologist preferred; RCIS or RCES certification required within 4 years of hire.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Electrophysiology Lab, or Special Procedures area is preferred. Relevant experience in Intensive Care or similar healthcare setting will be considered.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• ACLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• ARRT registration in Radiologic Technology is a plus.
