Salary Range: $29.00 - $41.50

Job Summary:

We are looking for an adaptable, confident, and empathetic Radiology Technologist dedicated to providing quality diagnostic imaging for our patients. You will have the opportunity to work across various settings such as clinics, hospitals, emergency departments, and operating rooms. As a Radiologic Technologist at Sanford, your precision in producing quality imaging will greatly assist providers in diagnosing their patients effectively. Additionally, you will have options for advancement into other modalities, including CT, MRI, and Mammography.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality image production.
• Ensure accurate patient positioning during procedures as per provider requests.
• Implement radiation safety guidelines and maintain proper protection practices during imaging.
• Understand and navigate the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Perform basic diagnostic radiology tasks and adhere to general radiology protocols.
• Conduct mobile imaging, EKG, cardiac monitor placement, and DEXA procedures.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an educational program recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
• Working knowledge of diagnostic radiographic principles, including positioning, film/image processing, quality control, and radiation safety, is necessary.
• Registration with the ARRT is mandatory.
• For North Dakota, licensure with the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRT) is required.
• If you are working in South Dakota, registry-eligible candidates must obtain ARRT within six months of hire.
• In Iowa, all technologists must have a permit to practice through the Iowa Department of Public Health.
• A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification may be required within the first eight weeks for some clinic locations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment is required.
• A valid driver's license may be necessary, depending on the department.
