We are seeking a skilled and motivated CAD Tooling Engineer with a strong background in C++ development to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have around 5+ years of experience in developing high-speed applications and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. As a CAD Tooling Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing our CAD tools to support our advanced engineering projects.

Requirements:

1. ~5+ years of experience as a C++ developer
2. Proficient in modern C++ (C++11 or more recent) and the standard library.
3. Experience on a high-speed application, such as simulation (of any process)
4. Design, develop, and maintain CAD tools using modern C++ (C++11 or later).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. The candidate will work on C++ simulation models of configurable SoC components, such as a network-on-chip (NoC), memory scheduler, DMA controller.
2. The models support a broad set of parameters and need to operate within a common configuration management framework based on Python attributes.
3. The candidate is responsible for bringing up the models in a SoC simulation and gathering metrics in a database such as SQL for offline performance analysis.
4. The work also includes product engineering aspects such as improving the build management with C, Make, evaluating C++ compiler upgrades, and runtime profiling.

Skills:

• C/C++, Python, SQL, AXI Protocols

Nice to have:

• Exposure to on-chip protocols, such as AXI
• Proficiency in Python
• Basics of SQL
