CAD Drafter/Designer

Designer/Cad Drafter

We are hiring a Designer/CAD Drafter at the Stewart's Shops Corporate Office in Ballston Spa. This job includes both building & site design as well as on-site project management.

Responsibilities

• Taking detailed "as-built" measurements to construct and recreate interior built environments.
• Conversion of as built drawing into Computer Aided Design (CAD) or Revit software and manipulation of the digitized format.
• Ability to work with co-workers at both design and shop level to ensure necessary details included in plan revision.
• Refining deliverables through iterative process and listening to stakeholder comments and guidance.
• Ability to manage your time for project delivery while simultaneously having responsibility inside the office and in the field.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years related drafting experience.
• Solid conceptual & design process skills.
• FE/RA credential preferred.
• Civil 3D -SWPPP experience preferred.
• Beam design knowledge a plus.
• Must be organized, self-motivated and have the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced office setting.
• High attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
