Job Title: Plumbing Designer

Job Description

As a Plumbing Designer, you will work with top architects, contractors, and facility owners across various markets, including education, healthcare, research, institutional, multi-family, and mixed-use. You will have the opportunity to apply creative solutions to complex challenges and contribute to projects from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

• Design plumbing systems, including domestic hot and cold water, sanitary waste and vent, storm water, and various specialty systems.

• Collaborate across disciplines to drive project success.

• Develop practical solutions using strong problem-solving skills.

• Use BIM tools such as AutoCAD and Revit to ensure quality and efficiency.

• Manage multiple projects, milestones, and deadlines.

• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients.

• Mentor and delegate to support team growth.

• Balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail.

• Embrace continuous learning and professional development.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of experience in plumbing system design.

• Associates of Applied Science or similar relevant education.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Self-driven, adaptable, and team-oriented.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC design.

• Plumbing/fire protection knowledge.

• Possession of a PE license is a significant advantage.
