Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and be part of something big? We're looking for hands-on, mechanically minded individuals to become Bus Tire Service Techniciansessential players in keeping our citys transit fleet running safely and efficiently.

In this role, you'll get hands-on with some of the biggest tires in the business. Your work will directly support public safety and keep the transit buses ready. This position requires a valid driver's license and CDL. Training for CDL will be provided by the company.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair large transit bus tires.
• Maintain tire equipment and toolswe count on you to keep things running smoothly.
• Load and unload tires and related materials.
• Keeping the work area clean and hazard-freesafety is always first.
• Participate in team meetings and stay up to date on procedures.
• Complete documentation and service logs accurately and on time.
• Use personal protective equipment and follow all safety protocols.
• Tackle other tasks as neededthere's always something to learn.

Minimum Qualifications

We're looking for someone who's not afraid to get their hands dirty and thrives in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

• Frequent bending, lifting, and moving tires over 50 pounds (and pushing with over 100 lbs. of force).
• Exposure to heat in summer, cold in winter, and common cleaning or lubrication chemicals.
• Comfortable working with tools and machines in a shop environment.

Path to progression:

• Full TIA Certification Pathway Provided: Gain recognized credentials paid for by us. TIA (Tire Industry Association) certification is a formal credentialing program aimed at raising technical standards among tire service professionals.
• Earn TIA Level 2 Certification within 2 weeks of hire.
• Complete TIA Level 3 Certification within 2 years.
