3rd Shift: 6pm - 6:30am (4 days on / 4 days off)

Pay Rate: $20.13 + Overtime pay for all hours over 40 per week.

Job Description

As a Bulk Loader, you will play a crucial role in the operations of loading bulk trucks and railcars. The position requires you to operate all necessary equipment safely, adhering to schedules to ensure timely departures. You will perform sanitation duties and some preventative maintenance to support the smooth running of operations.

Responsibilities

• Load bulk trucks and railcars using appropriate equipment.
• Ensure safety by using fall protection while working on top of bulk trucks or railcars.
• Follow schedules to load orders by the correct departure time.
• Perform sanitation and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Direct other employees in safety, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Learn and operate all equipment in the bulk house.

Essential Skills

• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to stand and walk continuously for 8-12 hours.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds/23 kilograms.
• Reliable transportation for all shifts and weekends.
• Ability to rotate shifts and provide job coverage.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools and mechanical assembly.
• Experience in general labor, unloading, and forklift operation.
• Understanding of bulk shipping and warehouse environments.

Work Environment

The role operates primarily in a bulk loading environment and requires working outside in various weather conditions. You will work night shifts from 6pm to 6:30am, following a 4 on and 4 off rotation. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and involves physical activities such as climbing, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
