Your Opportunity The Digital Practice Leader (DPL) is responsible for advancing and optimizing the organization's engagement with technology related to the design, delivery, and execution of work. This involves implementing innovative approaches, applied technology, process changes, and automation. The position guides the BOU through various aspects of digital transformation, leading the integration of digital technologies to improve efficiency, customer experience, and achieve our business outcomes. The DPL establishes the BOU's technology strategy, collaborates with the innovation office and IT, and oversees digital practice experts within their team and influences Digital practitioners across the BOU involved in business optimization, digital delivery, solution development, and practice support for client delivery. The role also works with other leaders to support technological advancement and project delivery processes. This position can be located in any Stantec office in Canada or the US.

Your Capabilities and Credentials
Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of AEC digital technologies, including cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Proficient in aligning digital initiatives with the long-term goals of the Business Operating Unit (BOU) and prevailing industry trends. Adept at providing exceptional leadership with the ability to inspire and guide teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive organizational change. Skilled in critical and strategic thinking, managing significant organizational change, addressing resistance, and fostering stakeholder buy-in. Proven track record in digital strategy development and implementation, with a leadership role in directing these efforts. Capable of developing and managing digital budgets and resources, tracking and reporting on the performance of digital Products/Asset/Solutions and initiatives, and ensuring the highest standards in digital governance, cybersecurity, and compliance. Skilled in evaluating market trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for setting standards, revenue growth, cost recovery and cost reduction, leveraging insights to drive competitive advantage and enhance the value proposition for both the BOU and its clients. Exceptional project management capabilities, enabling the successful delivery of complex projects of strategic significance. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to independently prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities effectively within a collective Digital Practice team. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively at all levels in the organization. Functional understanding of project delivery digital tools and IT security requirements within Stantec, ensuring compliance with requests. Equipped with a forward-thinking mindset and a hands-on approach to digital innovation, the ideal candidate will have practical experience in developing and implementing Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technology strategies for the BOU to future proof the business.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant area of practice. Over 12 years of professional experience. AEC industry experience strongly preferred. Specialized experience in successfully implementing enterprise-wide digital practice projects of strategic significance. Technical certifications relevant to the position.

Pay Range
Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas - Min Salary $ 157,100.00 - Max Salary $ 243,400.00 Locations in WA, DC & Various CA areas - Min Salary $ 168,500.00 - Max Salary $ 261,100.00 Locations in NYC & CA (Bay Area) & NJ (RP) - Min Salary $ 179,900.00 - Max Salary $ 278,800.00
Pay Transparency
In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
Benefits Summary

Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
