Are you a skilled Bridge Design Engineer with a passion for designing and inspecting a variety of bridge structures?

Selectek has partnered with a reputable Civil Engineering Firm in the Minneapolis MN Metro area to find a talented Bridge Design Engineer. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and inspecting bridges using a range of materials and techniques.

About the Role:

• Bridge Design: You will design bridges using reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, steel, and timber materials.
• Prefabricated Steel Truss Design: You will utilize your experience with prefabricated steel truss design.
• Bridge Inspection: You will conduct bridge condition and safety inspections.
• Technical Analysis: You will utilize MathCAD, RISA3D, and AASHTOWare BrR for structural analysis and design.
• CAD Drafting: You will create and modify bridge designs using AutoCAD.

Who You Are:

• Experienced Engineer: You have experience with reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, steel, and timber bridge design.
• Technical Proficiency: You are proficient in MathCAD, RISA3D, AASHTOWare BrR, and AutoCAD.
• Inspection Experience: You have experience conducting bridge condition and safety inspections.
• Detail-Oriented: You are meticulous in your work and committed to producing accurate designs and inspections.

Required Skills:

• Experience with reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, steel, and timber.
• Prefabricated steel truss experience.
• Bridge condition inspection / safety inspection experience.
• MathCAD, RISA3D, AASHTOWare BrR, and AutoCAD proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS in Civil Engineering.
• 2-8 years of experience in Bridge Design.
• EIT or PE certification.

Additional Info:

• Term: This is a 6-month contract to direct opportunity.
• Pay Range: $33.65 $52.88 depending on prior experience.
