Breast Ultrasound Technologist Boston, MA Full-Time

We are seeking a skilled Breast Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Boston, MA. This is a direct-hire, full-time opportunity to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services while supporting patients, physicians, and the imaging team.

Under the supervision of the Ultrasound Manager and Lead Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform breast ultrasound exams, assist physicians with procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Perform breast ultrasound exams following departmental protocols
• Assist physicians during sterile procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, and intraoperative imaging
• Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment, ensuring compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
• Provide excellent patient care, including preparation, positioning, and comfort throughout exams
• Complete exams in a timely manner and provide quality images for Radiology and other departments
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment in collaboration with management and service vendors
• Document exams accurately in systems such as PACS, RIS, and EMR
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff while maintaining confidentiality
• Provide coverage as needed across all departmental areas, including multiple campuses

Requirements:

• ARDMS Certification (OB, AB, or RVT) must be attained prior to hire
• Associates degree or certificate in diagnostic medical sonography required prior to hire
• Experience in breast imaging or clinical ultrasound preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and cover shifts as required
