Our client, a growing medical equipment manufacturer in Johnstown, PA, is seeking a Brake Press Operator/Laborer to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, contributing to production and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate dependability, a strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Brake Press Operator/Laborer

Location: Johnstown, PA

Pay Range: $13-15 for entry level, $17-19 for experienced

Shift: Monday through Thursday - 10 hr shifts - Days

What's the Job?

• Operate a brake press machine and other equipment to support production processes
• Set up and operate press brakes to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to blueprints and specifications
• Inspect raw materials and finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure smooth operation
• Assist across departments with tasks such as assembly, sanding, painting, packing, and quality control

What's Needed?

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic math and measuring skills
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
