Brake Press Operator

This machine operating role in a manufacturing company is designed to support the team by ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for the internal manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Operate various machines in the fabrication department, including presses, shears, notchers, and punch presses.
• Read and interpret prints to set start/stops on machines and operate them to cut metal sheets to specification.
• Measure accurately using a tape measurer.
• Lift 25-50 pounds consistently.
• Use quality instruments to ensure standards of fabricated sheet metal are met.

Essential Skills

• Experience operating presses or shears.
• Experience working with sheet metal.
• Ability to accurately use a tape measurer.
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds consistently.
• Ability to use hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Own steel-toe boots.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr.
