Bookkeeper (Contract)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team on a 6-month contract. This is an onsite role in Seattle, WA, where you'll play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
• Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments in a timely manner
• Assist with payroll preparation and related reporting
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain organized financial records and ensure accuracy of documentation
• Generate financial reports and provide data to management as needed
• Collaborate with the accounting team to support audits and special projects

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and MS Excel
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Contract: 6 months (with possible extension)
• Schedule: Full-time, onsite in Seattle, WA
• Pay: $25$30/hour DOE

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
