Biomanufacturing Technician

Play a vital role in the production of cutting-edge cellular therapies. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in scientific principles and hands-on experience or interest in cell culture techniques and aseptic processing in a fast-paced, regulated environment focused on innovation and quality.

Responsibilities

1. Perform aseptic manufacturing activities and maintain required qualifications.
2. Support production, formulation, and banking of cellular products in compliance with GMP and GDP standards.
3. Assist in drafting GMP documentation including SOPs and batch records.
4. Contribute to validation and continuous improvement efforts.
5. Participate in raw material handling and cell culture operations.
6. Maintain clean room standards and behaviors.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in aseptic technique, laboratory protocols, and cleanroom operations.
• Knowledge of cell culture, microbiology, chemistry, and biochemistry.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in a scientific field is strongly preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 01 year of experience in biotech or cell therapy (internship experience may be considered).
• Familiarity with sterile technique and laboratory protocols is a plus.

• Comfortable working in clean room environments with exposure to hazardous materials.
• Proficient in algebraic math.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Professionalism and confidentiality are a must.

Work Environment

You'll be working in a GMP-compliant cleanroom, which requires wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE) and following aseptic techniques and sterile procedures. Adherence to strict hygiene and contamination control protocols is essential. The role involves handling hazardous and medical materials, including blood, tissues, and needles, using specialized lab equipment used in cell therapy and biotech manufacturing.

Based out of Memphis, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.12/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
