Billing Representative

We are seeking a dedicated Billing Representative to join our team. The role involves managing daily billing workflows, processing invoices, and supporting administrative tasks. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Process up to 700 invoices each month with precision and efficiency.
• Read and respond to emails, messages, or calls, maintaining regular communication with the team and manager.
• Contact vendors to obtain invoices or resolve issues related to misapplied or missing payments.
• Assist with document processing and compile special reports as needed.
• Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Answer telephone calls, take messages, and communicate effectively via email using Microsoft Outlook.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and use a variety of office equipment efficiently.
• Complete daily billing workflows, usage history requests, and reports accurately.

Essential Skills

• Ability to listen and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Effective communication skills with coworkers and external customers.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and 10-key calculator.
• At least six months of experience in utilizing administrative office procedures and equipment.
• High school diploma or GED.

Work Environment

The role is primarily sedentary, requiring the ability to sit for long periods, typically 8-hour shifts. Candidates must be able to see information on a computer screen, use a keyboard, and hear spoken words via telephone or during meetings. The work environment requires punctuality, flexibility, and adaptability to ever-changing demands.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Gahanna, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
