Billing Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing the billing process, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining excellent customer relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be skilled in using billing systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Issue and distribute invoices accurately and timely.
• Process new contracts and sales efficiently.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy.
• Address customer complaints and questions professionally.
• Keep track of accounts receivable and transactions.
• Assist with customer account reconciliations.
• Prepare and present analytical reports.
• Support monthly and quarterly audits and resolve any issues or mistakes.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in accounting, invoicing, and data entry.
• Experience with billing systems and Excel, including formulas.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail in accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconciliation, collection, and bookkeeping skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of billing experience in a high-volume setting.

Work Environment

The role is based in a corporate office, requiring attendance five days a week. Flexible start times between 7:00 am and 8:30 am are available. The standard workweek is 40 hours, with options for a flexible schedule such as working nine-hour days from Monday to Thursday and leaving at noon on Fridays. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
