In our 1:1 ABA setting, you'll engage directly with children (aged 18 months to 8 years) using ethical and evidence-based ABA techniques. With exceptional supervision, continuous training, and a passionate team by your side, you’ll make a significant impact every single day!

Your Role as a Behavioral Support Technician:

• Implement one-on-one ABA therapy: Help children with Autism reach their full potential by following treatment plans, collecting data, writing notes for insurance, and applying feedback from supervisors during observation sessions.
• Facilitate development: Engage young children in therapeutic activities that are both fun and educational.
• Collaborate: Work together with a dedicated team to optimize safety and create an enjoyable environment in the center.
• Engage with children: Participate in playful activities—like running, dancing, singing, reading, or playing—to create a joyful atmosphere that encourages development.
• Communicate effectively: Interact positively with peers, families, and supervisors to coordinate activities, celebrate achievements, and express any needs.

Job Requirements:

• Physical Ability: Lift and move with children in a fast-paced environment, including the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, squat, and move quickly to stay engaged with children while ensuring a safe environment.
• Therapy Environment Maintenance: Keep play spaces tidy and organized to foster a stimulating and enjoyable experience for children.
• Multitasking Skills: Balance multiple interactions or tasks while prioritizing safety and effectiveness.
• Team Collaboration: Work cohesively across the center, neighborhood, and region, with potential travel to nearby centers as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment through training, hands-on assessments, and passing the board's exam.

Pay Based on Experience & Education:

• Associates/High School: $20.00 - $24.00
• Bachelors: $20.00 - $25.50
• Masters: $20.00 - $28.00

Your first raise will be granted upon obtaining RBT certification, typically within 21 days.

Preferred Experience:

• Childcare roles such as babysitting, preschool teaching, or tutoring.
• Mental health professionals and advocates.
• Camp counselors, volunteers, or Sunday school teachers.
• Degrees in fields related to education, sociology, or psychology.
• Roles as paraprofessionals or life skills assistants.
• Genuine passion for working with children on the autism spectrum.
