Behavioral Health Therapist II - Evenings, Walk in Clinic

Make a lasting impact in a child's life-one session at a time. Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist for our afternoon and evening shift, as well as Saturday's at our South location in Bridgeville, PA. You'll deliver independent, evidence-based clinical services to children and adolescents in an outpatient setting, supporting recovery and resilience in a caring, collaborative environment.

UPMC is offering a sign on bonus of $2500 for a 1 year work commitment and $3500 for a 2 year work commitment.

What You'll Do:

• Create and manage treatment plans tailored to diverse and complex needs

• Conduct patient assessments and make clinical decisions on treatment and referrals

• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and manage your caseload independently

• Support families and engage in regular performance improvement and licensure preparation

• Mentor student interns and support peers in a team-focused atmosphere

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required.

• Two years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions required.

• Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM required. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• Clinical Social Worker (CSW) OR Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

• Act 31, 33, 34, 73 Clearance with renewal
