In our personalized 1:1 ABA setting, you will work directly with children aged 18 months to 8 years, utilizing ethical and evidence-based ABA techniques in a nurturing, center-based environment. Responsibilities of a Behavior Therapist:

• Implement the principles of one-on-one ABA therapy tailored for children with Autism by following treatment plans, collecting data, writing necessary documentation, and applying feedback from supervisors during sessions.
• Enhance the developmental progress of young children through engaging and enjoyable therapeutic activities.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure optimal treatment, safety, and an enjoyable working environment.
• Engage children through play, movement, and pretend activities, maintaining a joyful atmosphere by keeping pace with their energy and enthusiasm.
• Communicate positively with stakeholders, including peers, families, and supervisors, to coordinate activities, celebrate achievements, and advocate for individual needs.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move children in a dynamic environment, including the capacity to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, squat, and move quickly on the floor.
• Maintain a clean, organized therapy space that stimulates and delights the children.
• Ability to multitask while prioritizing safety and well-being for everyone involved.
• Support team cohesion through collaboration, which may involve travel to nearby centers when necessary.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are essential.
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old, with a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment by passing a comprehensive training curriculum and board exam.

Salary Range Based on Experience & Education:

• Bachelor's: $16.50 - $25.50
• Master's: $17.50 - $27.00

Entry-level candidates can earn their first raise upon certification as an RBT, typically within 21 days.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in childcare (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor).
• Mental health experience (QMHP, behavioral health technicians).
• Background as camp counselors, volunteers, or teachers.
• Degrees in teaching, special education, sociology, psychology, or related fields.
• Experience as paraprofessionals or support staff.
• A passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Eagerness to be part of a caring, team-oriented culture.
