Overview

As a Bartender at Cambria Downtown Austin, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming, energetic atmosphere for our guests. You'll craft high-quality beverages, engage with guests to provide memorable experiences, and ensure smooth operations at the bar. This position requires a balance of mixology expertise, hospitality skills, and attention to detail to uphold Cambria's standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with recipes and brand standards.
• Provide exceptional guest service by anticipating needs, making recommendations, and creating a positive, engaging bar experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking, sanitizing, and adhering to health and safety standards.
• Accurately handle guest tabs, payments, and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure compliance with TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) laws and hotel policies.
• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to support service flow and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
• Promote specials, events, and loyalty programs to maximize guest engagement and revenue.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or mixology experience in a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume bar environment preferred.
• Current TABC certification required (or ability to obtain before start date).
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage service standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The compensation for this position is $10.25/Hr. - $10.25/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
