Overview

Banking, Commercial Banking, Full Time Analyst, San Francisco - US, 2026. Citi’s Commercial Bank (CCB) is looking for Full-Time Analysts to join our team. Our Commercial Banking division works with businesses with annual sales ranging from $10 million to more than $3 billion. Our team helps clients maximize growth by leveraging Citi’s banking products, including deposits, lending, cash management, trade, FX, and capital markets solutions. The Full-Time Analyst Program aims to bring in top talent and develop them into the next generation of commercial banking leaders globally.

What you will do

Analysts play a critical role in meeting client needs, including:

• Conducting company research and industry analysis
• Analyzing financial data and performing financial modeling (valuations, discounted cash flow, pro- forma analyses)
• Supporting the commercial lending process (secured and unsecured revolver, term loans, syndicated loans, leveraged loans, cross-border loans through Citi’s global network)
• Partnering with bankers and product teams to determine which products to leverage to help clients achieve their goals
• Contributing to deal management and client presentation preparation (business development presentations, pitch books, prospect memos, and related decks)
• Engaging with clients, prospects, and centers of influence and interacting with partners across the firm (product, credit risk, legal, marketing, operations, risk, compliance, technology)

What to expect

The 24-month Full-time Analyst Program starts in July with in-depth training, combining formal training with hands-on experience to ramp up quickly. Ongoing training in sales, credit, product, technology, and professional skills, plus a mentoring structure, will help you develop professionally. By the end of the program you will have experienced and understood:

• The CCB target market, value proposition, and client coverage model
• How bankers identify client needs and interact with clients
• Credit product types and how to match solutions to client needs
• The commercial loan underwriting process, including loan structuring and documentation
• The end-to-end credit process, including origination and monitoring of an assigned credit portfolio
• Engaging with clients, prospects, and centers of influence
• Citi credit and regulatory policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Dynamic individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Major in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
• On track to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in December 2025 or May/June 2026
• Preferred GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint (and related tools)
• Will not require sponsorship for U.S. Work Authorization now or in the future

Compensation and Benefits
