We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team to support one of San Fernando Valley's leading healthcare organizations. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced clinic setting with adults, focusing on back office medical assisting duties. Requirements

• Ability to work 8:00am5:00pm
• Some medical experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care and flow
• Prepares patients for examination and treatment
• Takes and records vital signs
• Assists providers with procedures and exams
• Administers medications and injections as directed
• Collects and processes lab specimens
• Ensures that e-prescribing tasks and all assigned tasks in EHR are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintains EHR records accurately following policies and procedures
• Completes tasks in case management system on a daily basis

You will be working in a fast-paced clinic environment. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The clinic provides a supportive atmosphere for both patients and staff.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
