AWS Security Lead

Job Description:

Position Overview

As the Cloud Security Lead, you will lead customer engagement activities by advising leads and Executives in a variety of businesses in all aspects of Cloud security. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Cloud Security Solutioning in AWS, Project leadership, Architecture & designing, including security controls, architecture, incident response preparedness and response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security event analytics and correlation along with Continuous Cloud Compliance. He/she must be passionate about the field of cyber security and able to think strategically and operate tactically. The candidate must have in-depth security experience and be able to effectively scale and tailor cloud security services/solutions to unique and challenging business use-cases.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead customer engagement activities related to Cloud security.
2. Provide subject matter expertise on information security architecture and systems engineering to other IT and business teams.
3. Guide the team on appropriate prioritization of qualified incidents and manage incident tickets.
4. Lead all Technical presentations for HCL Technologies including Managed Services, Professional Services, Cyber Security Services, and Audit Services.
5. Continuously work on identifying new trends and areas in the Services space and align HCL Technologies offerings with the same.
6. Model and simulate different options for customized customer requirements.
7. Plan, implement, design, and review security policies and other compliances with ISO27K, HIPAA, CCM4, NIST, CIS, SOX, and PCI-DSS standards.
8. Travel to customer locations as required for discussions.
9. Experience in leading a Cloud Security team.

Qualifications

1. 8 to 14 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on Cloud security.
2. Mandatory certification: AWS Certified Security – Specialty (SCS-C01)
3. Proven hands-on implementation knowledge of AWS Security Services such as GuardDuty, WAF, Inspector, IAM, KMS, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, AWS config, Macie, and Security Hub.
4. Proven knowledge in RFP Responses and Presentation Skills.
5. Experience with Vendor evaluation & relationship management.
6. Knowledge of Threat hunting experiences will be an added advantage.
7. CCSP certification will be an added advantage.
8. Good command over the English language – Oral and written is mandatory.
9. Capable of working in a 24/7 support model and able to work under pressure during migration/project transitions.

Additional Skills

1. Hands-on experience with Palo Alto FW or Cisco.
2. Experience in Architecting Security solution on AWS and integration knowledge with Third Party products.
3. Good understanding of Virtualization Platforms, Storage systems, Clustering and High Availability Solutions, Disaster Recovery Models.
4. Hands-on knowledge of EUC, Cloud, Compute, Storage, Network, Security, and other related domains.

Hybrid work and relocate to DFW area.
