Job: AWS Cloud Data Engineer

Location: Minneapolis, MN 55401

Employment Type: Fulltime

Responsibilities

• Work with a team dedicated to the design, development, and delivery of Data Mesh in the organization. This solution will eventually be providing services across multiple lines of business within the organization.
• Collaborate closely with Data architects for design work and develop secure and scalable application solutions using the AWS data products.
• Code data pipelines that ETL data without the use of an ETL tool.

Qualifications & Skills

• Data engineering background and hands-on experience building data pipelines, ETL/ELT, using AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Step Functions, Athena, DMS, Storage Gateway, RDS variants).
• Strong SQL skills.
• Solid understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling.
• Good Python programming skills.
• Experience sourcing and exposing data via REST API.
• Applications integration experience.
• Candidate should know how to build ETL pipelines but doesn’t require deep knowledge of any single ETL tool.
• Proficiency in Python and AWS (Glue, S3, and Step Functions are main services) is required.
