Job Details

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Develop contract documents (plans, specifications, and quantities/estimates)
Coordinate and facilitate project meetings (organize and lead meetings)
Maintain current departmental organizational and quality control standards; update as necessary
nalyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data for project planning
Perform design computations
Coordinate with and/or manage project sub-consultants and in-house support disciplines

Required Skills:

Proficient knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Open Roads Designer/MicroStation
Construction cost estimating in detail
Technical specification writing
Proficiency in MS Office software

Preferred Skills:

In-depth knowledge of F dvisory Circulars, Engineering Briefs, and Orders
Working knowledge of DoD Unified Facilities Criteri
Familiarity with project management skills (scheduling, budgeting, etc.)

Required Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited program
Professional Engineer (PE) License or equivalent
4-8 years of experience in civil design
Experience in task management

Preferred Experience:

Supervisory experience in project tasks
Experience in road/highway design
