Job Summary:
nAre you ready to embark on a journey where your expertise meets meaningful impact? As a Research and Development Senior Technical IPT Manager help manage and coordinate efforts to solve system level challenges and technical issues spanning autonomy, sensors, fusion, data analysis & management, communication systems, flight operations, and other capabilities related to ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Recognizance) missions. Join our team at KBR supporting the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) and be at the forefront of military autonomous solution development and prototyping, contributing to our success story. This role will be part of a team developing and transitioning an autonomous ISR capability operating at the edge to detect, identify, track, maintain custody of and report on high value targets. You'll collaborate closely with a diverse team, fostering innovation and excellence every step of the way. You will help manage the Agile software development process, organize and run Sprint Demos and Sprint Reviews, and lead the Capability Roadmap process. Your responsibilities will include coordinating technical interactions within the team, leading technical investigations and interchange meetings, and supporting technical engagements with related projects within AFRL and AFLCMC. Additionally, you will lead KBR's team in supporting AFRL's R&D efforts and advise the Chief Engineer on technical issues and challenges. Help manage the Agile software development process, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.

Organize and run Sprint Demos and Sprint Reviews to showcase progress and gather feedback.
n n - n
Lead the Capability Roadmap process to define and prioritize project goals.
n n - n
Lead the software product delivery process including the packaging and deployment of source code & binaries, software documentation, test documents and other related artifacts
n n - n
Support the architecture and design of autonomous functionality achieving mission effects.

Coordinate technical interactions within the team to ensure seamless collaboration.
n n - n
Lead technical investigations and technical interchange meetings to address project challenges.
n n - n
Support technical engagements with related projects within AFRL and AFLCMC.

Support Test and Evaluation and demonstration efforts by coordinating IPTs and technical details

Lead KBR's team in supporting AFRL's R&D efforts, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Advise and support the Chief Engineer on technical issues and challenges.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
n n - n
Minimum of 15 years of experience in program management or systems engineering.
n n - n
Proven experience with Agile software development processes.
n n - n
Strong background in autonomous systems, ISR operations, and military sensor technology.
n n - n
Experience with current UAV systems and software development.
n n - n
Proficiency in MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) and modeling and simulation.

Active Top Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience with AFRL and AFLCMC projects.

Experience on fast-paced innovation and development programs

Familiarity with defense and aerospace industry standards and regulations.
